Marlton Pool

An update for our season pass holders and “friends of the pool” on what is happening at the Marlton Pool over the next couple of weeks.

1.       Our hours open to the public are limited until after the last day of school for PG County (June 23) This coming weekend the pool will be open from noon until 8 P.M. on Saturday and Sunday, June 18 and 19. Since Monday, June 20th is a federal holiday, “Juneteenth”, the pool will be open from noon until 8 on that day also. So we have a three day weekend of refreshing outdoor swimming at the Marlton Pool!

2.       On Saturday the 18th there will be a “pop up shop” in the parking lot with 12 vendors selling t-shirts, hats, jewelry, etc. The vendors will be there from noon until 6:30. See notice attached. (We’re trying different things at the Marlton Pool!)

3.       On the following Saturday, June 25, the pool will be hosting the Marlton Neighborhood Alliance (MNA) for the “Marlton Block Party” starting at 3PM. There will be a food truck available on premises ("Garlic Sensations" - soul seafood) so you can buy a meal or a snack. Lots of fun activities for the children! Also, a chance for you to meet some of the folks who are running for office in our county and our state. Go to the MNA website for more info.  https://www.marlton.org/ "Garlic Sensations" menu for the block party is also available at the marlton.org website. The menu selections for that day look really good!

4.       Marlton Pool offers a daily pass for $10 for pool area entry, 3 years old and above. IF you plan to come often, a season pass is your best bet. Come to the pool to sign up—a season pass also allows you purchase guest passes for $6 per guest. Stop by to find out about swimming lessons. Micah is back with “Micah and Me” group lessons (see attached) and WeAquatics is offering private lessons for the first time in our part of the county. (weaquatics.com) Buying a season pass is a great way for you to enjoy the outdoors during the summer AND show your support for your neighborhood pool.

5.       Back by popular demand, Candace will be leading water fitness classes each Thursday afternoon at 3 PM. See attachment and waiver. It will be starting on Thursday, June 30th. The cost is $10 for drop in’s and $5 for season pass holders. No experience is necessary. Class is geared towards many physical ability levels. Come at least 15 minutes before the class begins to sign the waiver form. (Or do ahead of time--see attached.)
